Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) is an energy-efficient way of gently bringing filtered air into the home and increasing the circulation of fresh air across the house, improving the indoor air quality and forcing out and replacing stale unhealthy air with drier fresh air (IAQ).
Condensation and mould’s worst enemy is ventilation, which eliminates the source of the problem: moisture in the air. Mould is a basic plant that can be killed by ceasing to water it. Painting over mould that has already developed will not solve the issue. Condensation cannot settle and mould cannot develop when moisture and other contaminants are removed from the environment, eliminating the problem at its root with the help of Positive Input Ventilation.
